Mask Measuring Tips
The effectiveness of a mask has a lot to do with fit. You want a good seal all around the face: around the nose, cheeks, and chin. Here are some steps you can take to get the right fitted mask size for you.
Do you have a tape measure or a ruler at home? Great! If you don't have a tape measure, you can use a string, shoe lace, etc... and then measure with a ruler.
1. Measure from middle of ear to middle of ear across the face/nose.
2. Measure from the bridge of your nose down to just under the chin where the bottom of a mask would hit.

Cotton face masks are not a replacement for N95 or surgical masks. Each mask is intended for use by a single individual to cover the nose and mouth to contain your respiratory secretions. The CDC recommends social distancing in addition to wearing a mask.
